Self-taught, Liz was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil.

Since the 1980s, Liz has been developing her own painting technique, which can be seen in her abstract work; a mixture of materials, textures and colors, in movements that are sometimes energetic and sometimes contemplative.

Each brushstroke reflects an inner journey beyond technique and intertwines with the artist’s history and the essence of being human.

She feels free and at peace when connecting her soul and silence to her art.

In 2003, she reached an important milestone in her career when she was selected to participate in the prestigious centenary edition of the Salon D'Automne in Paris, a city that she considers magical and feels connected to; so much so that she now spends her time between São Paulo and Paris.
